School Meals
At Heber we provide a healthy cooked meal for all pupils every day, cooked freshly each day onsite by our in-house caterers. We have recently achieved Healthy Schools Gold status from the Soil Association, and we are committed to being a healthy school. Our catering team provides nutritious, balanced meals and we work to educate the pupils on how to make healthier food choices. Our goal is to instil a love and understanding of fresh, healthy food at a young age.
Caterlink are proud Food for Life caterers, having been the first contract caterer to be accredited with the prestigious award. Caterlink operate at Silver grade as standard across their business.
Currently, school meals are funded by the local authority, and are offered at no cost to school age pupils. Meals for full-time Nursery children are charged at £1.00 per meal. Please see this term's menu below.
