Parent Survey

Parent feedback helps us to understand what we have been doing well and more importantly, to identify what we can do to make Heber even better for the children. Thank you to everyone who completed this year's survey in July 2023; we're very appreciative.

Overall, 99% of respondents are ‘very satisfied’ or ‘satisfied’ with Heber School. 74.5% are ‘very satisfied’ (the highest rating) up from 71% the year before. No parent was ‘dissatisfied’.

Overall satisfaction with the school has increased by 7 percentage points from 2018 when 92% of respondents were ‘satisfied’ or very ‘satisfied’.

98% of respondents ‘agree’ or ‘strongly agree’ that their child is happy at Heber School. 79% strongly agree with this statement (up from 72.5% the year before). 2% of parents were neutral about this and none ‘disagreed’ or ‘strongly disagreed’ that their child was unhappy.

100% of respondents ‘agree’ or ‘strongly agree’ that their child feels safe at Heber School. This was up from 98% the year before.

97% of parents and carers ‘agree’ or ‘strongly agree’ that Heber provides a creative curriculum and 98% ‘agree’ or ‘strongly agree’ that it provides a broad curriculum.

96% of respondents ‘agree’ or ‘strongly agree’ that their child makes good progress at Heber School. This figure has continued to increase from a dip in the Covid year (20/21) when it was 88%.  3% of parents were neutral or disagreed.

96% thought the school was approachable when they needed to discuss something (76% strongly agree and 20% agree). The percentage of parents who ‘strongly agree’ that the school is approachable has continued to increase year on year.

99% of respondents agree that they would recommend Heber School to another parent (up from 95%) . 82% respondents ‘strongly agree’ with this statement (up from 77% the year before).
