Letter from the Headteacher

If you come to visit Heber School I hope you are struck by the calm, purposeful atmosphere. You will see happy children who are eager to learn and whose behaviour reflects our three key values; thoughtfulness, resilience and responsibility.
Our highly experienced stable staff includes four class teachers in receipt of ‘Excellent Teacher awards from the Local Authority. We also employ specialist Art, Music and PE teachers. We have dedicated Art and Music rooms. Concerts and exhibitions are regular features of school life. We have a constant and relentless focus on the progress of each and every child in the school with the aim of achieving outstanding progress for all. This is reflected in the Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2 test outcomes for 2013 / 2014. Please follow the link under the quick links menu on the right.
We have active and engaged parents who support the school and sponsor projects and events. Please contact me if you have any questions about the school or if you would like to arrange a visit. We currently have a limited number of vacancies across the school, including Nursery. We have places in Nursery for both three year olds and children whose third birthday falls this term. Please contact the school office for details.
