Reception News

Over the last couple of weeks the Reception classes have been learning about Diwali, Bonfire night and Remembrance. They have had a lot of creative activities to take part in, such as making clay Diva’s, drawing Mendhi patterns, fire work pictures and making remembrance poppies using apples. We’ve had lots of fun and learnt a lot about different celebrations.

Book Week 2016

Learning in the Foundation Stage…

It has been a very busy start of the year in the Reception classes! The children have been learning about doubling in their maths sessions and focused on ways to solve doubling problems. Picnic in the Park for New Reception Children

We’re looking forward to welcoming you and your children to Heber in September. Each year the Parents and Friends of Heber organise a picnic for new reception children and parents/carers. It’s a lovely gentle introduction to new classmates (for the parents & carers too!) before the summer holidays. This year its on Thursday 16th July at Peckham Rye Park (in the Arboretum) from  3.30pm.
