Hackaball and Heber

Heber Farmer’s Market

The school council have been working hard to raise money for new playground equipment. The have grown lettuces in the school garden and have sold them raising £5.00 to put towards the school council’s next project. Thank you to Maria, our gardener, and well done to all of the children involved!

Lunchtime clubs are now running across the school. There are a range of activities the children can choose from over the week, including organised tournaments in a range of sports,Ipad clubs, Dance club, Speedstacks club, 24 Maths Club, Table Tennis, Year 6 drop in, Learning mentor drop in, Mindcraft club, laptop club, games & chess club, and two coding clubs. Heber Football Team

The Heber Girls and Boys football teams travelled again to Rotherhithe to play in the Southwark Schools football league. Low temperatures did not dampen the enthusiasm of the children. Girls from Year 5 and 6 were happy to take up the challenge from Sydenham Girls School in Forest Hill. The tag rugby match was against their Year 8 girls after school on Thursday. Cookery Club
