On Monday 1st December, several children took part in some of the preparations for the Christmas Cracker Festival which is happening in East Dulwich on 6th December. Two artists worked with children from Year 3 and 4 to design and make decorations that are going to border Lordship Lane at the weekend.
‘On Monday I took part in an art activity, where I decorated a bauble to border Lordship Lane for Christmas. I really enjoyed making the baubles because it made me feel part of the East Dulwich community. Also, I feel it brought out lots of my creativity. It made me feel lucky and glad as well. That doesn’t happen everyday! Doing collages on baubles was a brilliant idea. It was important to me because everyone can see my work on Lordship Lane. I had a great day.’
